G. Caleb Alexander, MD, MS
CO-FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL
Dr. Alexander is an internationally renowned physician scientist with extensive clinical, regulatory, and analytic experience in healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry. He is a practicing general internist with rigorous training in subspecialty areas including cardiovascular, infectious, inflammatory, endocrinologic, and musculoskeletal disease.
Dr. Alexander also has extensive regulatory and payor experience including serving as current Chair of a U.S. Food and Drug Administration Advisory Committee, Principal Investigator of the Johns Hopkins Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation, and a member of OptumRx’s National Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
A widely sought after thought leader and lecturer, he is the author of over 225 scientific articles and book chapters focused on pharmaceutical utilization, safety, effectiveness, and policy. He also has experience working closely with stakeholders including payers, regulators, manufacturers, and consumer advocates.
Dr. Alexander received his B.A. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, an MD from Case Western Reserve University, and a Master of Science from the University of Chicago.
